Resonate

Before proceeding to read this page, please read the brief overview on the Six Life-Supportive Concepts System here.

Resonance is the state of vibrational reciprocity between two or more entities, analogous to a violin string in tune with a vibrating tuning-fork, or a radio receiving-circuit in tune with a broadcasting frequency. The process of resonance occurs in nature, in the propagation of sounds, light, electromagnetic waves, etc., as well as in our nervous system where neurons that resonate together get wired together, which ultimately produces learning and behaviour. Through Rupert Sheldrake’s process of morphic resonance—the resonance between the morphic units (living things) and the morphic field (collective consciousness)—an act, event, or idea can lead to similar occurrences in the future. According to his theory, this is how knowledge, biological processes, and cultural practices evolve over time.

The concept of resonating is essentially about communication and influence, about connecting, sharing, and spreading our message in the form of ideas, activities, and events to individuals and groups. But first there must be consistency in the type of vibration (message) that we sent out to the field (collective consciousness) every day. That is why the concept of consistent embodiment is so important. When our embodiment is inconsistent we neutralise our vibration, whereas when our embodiment is consistent, we strengthen the vibration (message) that we want to resonate in the Field.

Through our daily interactions and activities we create a formalised or indirect network. We need to stay tuned to life-supportive events around the world and actively support worthy causes. Our intentions, emotions, actions, and interactions with others and the environment form the vibrations that we hope to resonate in our world.

By going beyond our five senses, we recognise that our inner and outer worlds mirror each other in a fractalistic manner. If we don’t like what we see in our world, we can start changing the world by changing our worldviews and aligning our actions to them. With this global spirit, a more robust, creative, and energy-efficient suprasystem can emerge to tackle the complex multi-systems issues. Electromagnetic, geomagnetic, biomagnetic, and other vibrations have discernible impact on our genes, biology, and consciousness. Our thoughts, emotions, and actions are vibrations that we can resonate to shape the kind of world we want to create.

Core Actions to Take

(a)     Through virtual and face-to-face interactions, connect with like-minded groups or create a support group.

(b)     Actively share your experiences and resources to help others embark on and sustain their life-supportive practices.

(c)     Continue to improve your concepts of simplifying, redefining, aligning, and embodying. Improvement in any of these areas would amplify your life-supportive resonance.

(d)     Make time to resonate with the collective consciousness through meditation, prayer, or contemplation. We can include sending our blessings to beings who are suffering from poverty, starvation, sickness, natural disasters, wars, and oppression.
